Frequently Asked Questions

Features

  • You can use terms of any length that you want, so it's up to you if you want to do a full school year or use separate terms for each semester or quarter. You will need to use a separate term for Extended School Year if only a subset of your students will receive services during that time. Starting with summer 2023, we will provide a way to select a subset of your students to be included in ESY.

We suggest you use names like "2021-2022 School Year" or "2021-2022 SY" if you prefer to keep it short. Names must only be unique for a given school, so you can reuse the same term name for multiple schools.

  • Editing a plan is for correcting a mistake made when entering the plan information. Editing a plan will retroactively affect the plan requirements for the full-time period of the plan which could cause incorrect status information to be shown if the plan requirements are only changing from a certain date forward.

If you need to amend the requirements of a plan from a certain date forward, then you should create a new plan using that date as the beginning date. You will need to make sure that all plan requirements are added to the new plan, for all relevant service types.

  • No, but you can remove them from caseloads.

  • Check this box if you have logged direct service entries that overlap each other and you want the overlapping sections to be shown together as a group activity.

    Here is an example:

If you have a session with Student A from 9AM-10AM and with Student B from 9:45AM-10:30AM and you check the box for grouping overlapping direct service, then the following will be shown:

    9:00AM-9:45AM Student A

    9:45AM-10:00AM Students A and B (group)

    10:00AM-10:30AM Student B
